Adult Leaders
The adult leaders of Troop 49 are dedicated to providing the best program possible for the Scouts in their care. The troop is very proud of the continued service of its previous Scoutmaster, Chip Wampler. For 40+ consecutive years, he provided leadership and guidance, which enabled Troop 49 to grow from a group of 7 youth to a troop of over 40 scouts. His commitment to service, training and youth have been an example to other adult leaders in the troop.
The Adult Leaders of Troop 49 are members of the Slakdawg Patrol.

Committee
The Troop 49 Committee has recently been reorganized to provide a better focus on Troop activities and administration and to be better able to support the Scouting Program.
The Committee is always looking for parents or other interested parties to help with troop functions and activities. If you are interested in helping out with the Troop by volunteering to serve on the Troop Committee or a sub-committee please email us and a member of the Troop Committee will be in touch with you.
